FAKRO at Sustain Tomorrow Conference

Sustain Tomorrow Conference vol. 2 is one of the most prestigious events dedicated to sustainable development issues. The conference brings together experts, practitioners and business leaders to jointly explore the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy and create a sustainable future. In the panel titled ESG under construction – the ESG revolution is changing the construction industry FAKRO was represented by Janusz Komurkiewicz, Management Board Member for Marketing.

The conference covered topics related to the ESG challenges of 2024. The event is a continuation of the discussion started during the first edition of the conference, held on January 29, 2024.  Gathered experts and practitioners representing both Polish and international companies shared the latest knowledge and experience related to the green transformation. The matters discussed included financing changes in organisations, building competences and processes related to decarbonisation as well as the role of ESG in construction.

In the ESG under construction – the ESG revolution is changing the construction industry panel, Janusz Komurkiewicz talked about standards concerning sustainable development in the construction industry. He said: “The industry must be competitive. As manufacturers, we strive not only to secure that our products are energy-efficient, but also to ensure a responsible production process with full respect for our environment. We design, plan and manufacture with care for the environment. Offering environmentally friendly products is embedded in our company’s DNA and consistent with our GO GREEN philosophy.”

Sustain Tomorrow Conference vol. 2 was organised by Wprost & TAILORS Group. The event took place in Warsaw on March 19, 2024.
