FAKRO at 2nd edition of the Poland-Ukraine Construction Convention

The concluded 2nd Poland- Ukraine Construction Convention was the venue for a discussion on the prospects and perspectives facing Polish companies in the process of broadly understood investment reconstruction of Ukraine. Discussions between practitioners and analysts, strategists with financiers, heads of Polish industry organisations with representatives of the Ukrainian administration provided an extraordinary forum for exchanging views. One of the panels was attended by Janusz Komurkiewicz, FAKRO Management Board Member for Marketing.  

The event focused on a broad spectrum of construction-related issues, including roads, railways, industrial, energy and environmental construction as well as housing and access to construction materials and machinery. For the participants of the Convention, the knowledge shared by specialists was not only a confirmation of existing expectations, but also an inspiration for further development of business relations between Poland and Ukraine.

During the panel, which was attended by Janusz Komurkiewicz, representative of FAKRO, key aspects related to construction activities in Ukraine were discussed. The talks covered both the prospects and needs of Ukraine in the area of construction and infrastructure, but also the opportunities and resources of the Polish construction market. Industry practitioners, analysts and representatives of the Ukrainian administration engaged in discussions on the potential of the Ukrainian market as well as on current challenges such as technical, legislative and regulatory barriers.

The second edition of the Poland-Ukraine Construction Convention  took place at Grand Warsaw Hotel on April 8, 2024. The next edition of this event is scheduled for September 2024.
